Unit Links: Your student will find numerous videos that are about the topic they are learning about. These are locked in the teacher section so your student can only view these with your permission. The videos are interesting and cover a variety of aspects of the Global Topic.

I’m glad we delayed science until the end of our homeschool day because we got a bit carried away binge-watching the videos. Since these videos are produced by different people, there is a great variety in topic and presentation, which helps retain my daughters’ interest.

My son used the spaced provided to type in notes and thoughts. After he watched the core video and took his quiz, he liked to watch the great variety of videos. He spent more time as he would take many rabbit trails. All the internet links are not clickable so you have to paste them into your internet browser bar. You don’t have to worry about kids clicking.  (The clickable links are in the Parent/Teacher section where you can give your child access when you–as the parent–desire.)

All in all, we really do enjoy CrossWired Science.  The information shared in the videos is amazing! I am loving how much information even I am learning. I love that there are additional Unit Links with a slew of videos to continue learning about these topics.

All links to outside websites are vetted by Crosswired Science. It is easy to find ‘junk’ on the internet. After seeing quality information, the student can then learn how to discern the good from the bad during the research stage.

I like going to a trusted website such as CrossWired Science for extra materials, instead of trying to wade through all the internet resources myself and choose the best videos or websites.
